Bonus terms

The fine print that determines whether a welcome offer is worth accepting.

Every UK licensed casino publishes terms for each promotion. The headline figure — matched deposit percentage, number of free spins — is only half the picture. These are the clauses that determine what you can actually withdraw.

Wagering multiplier

Look for whether wagering applies to the bonus alone or to bonus plus deposit. A £50 bonus with 35x wagering on bonus only requires £1,750 in bets. The same bonus with 35x on bonus plus deposit after a £50 deposit requires £3,500. The difference is substantial.

Game contribution rates

Not every game counts equally toward clearing wagering. Slots typically contribute 100%. Table games often contribute 10–20%. Live dealer games may be excluded entirely. If you plan to clear a bonus playing blackjack, check the contribution table first — you might never reach the threshold.

Maximum bet while wagering

Most bonuses cap your stake per spin or hand during playthrough — commonly £5 per spin on slots. Exceeding this cap, even once, can void the bonus and any associated winnings. The limit appears in the promotion terms, not on the game screen.

Time limits

Bonuses expire. Typical windows run 7 to 30 days from activation. Free spins often expire within 24 to 72 hours if unused. Track the deadline in your account dashboard rather than assuming you have unlimited time.

Maximum withdrawal from bonus winnings

Some no-deposit and free-spin offers cap how much you can withdraw from bonus-derived winnings regardless of how much you win. A £50 cap means landing a £500 win still pays out £50. Deposit-match bonuses at major UK brands usually do not carry this cap, but always confirm.

Wager-free exceptions

MrQ's wager-free spins are unusual: winnings from qualifying spins carry no playthrough requirement. "Wager-free" applies to those specific spins, not necessarily to every promotion on the site. Reload bonuses and deposit matches at MrQ may still carry standard wagering.

Opting out

You can usually decline a bonus at registration or contact support to remove an active bonus from your account. Playing without a bonus means no wagering restrictions on your deposit — useful if you prefer live casino or table games that contribute poorly.
